Financial Planning Manager

About Me

I have been involved in financial services for over 15 years and continue to pursue the greatest standards of improvement and success in my profession. I take great pleasure in playing a role in seeing both colleagues and clients meeting their life goals.

I studied at the University of Roehampton in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond. I graduated with an Honours in Business Studies and Management.

I have always been an academic and very much technically minded in my approach to work and life. This feature continues today as I am on course to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status through the Chartered Institute of Insurance.

My early career saw me take up supervisory and management roles in the retail sector. However, I found myself quickly move into financial services joining Santander in 2004. During this early period I came to appreciate the real value of managing money and in particular financial planning.

I qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2007 and a few years later joined NatWest Private advising city based clients on their financial planning needs. After business restructuring, I moved into Compliance and spent the next few years overseeing advice quality standards.

However, a return to financial planning was always my desire. I decided to join Kubera Wealth in March 2019 after meeting the directors and the rest of the team. The opportunity of helping Kubera manage clients and achieve future growth ambitions greatly excites me.

My Passions

I grew up around Highbury in Islington at a very young age before my families big move to North West London - very close to Lords cricket ground. Inevitably, this brought about my interests in football, becoming an ardent Arsenal fan, and taking up cricket. I was able to take the latter further leading to a brief cricket trial spell at the MCC’s under 14 boys team.

These days, I continue to remain active through health and fitness in and out of the gym. I have recently taken up playing Golf albeit this is very much a work in progress as I have a tendency to swing the golf club like a cricket bat!

By way of relaxation, I enjoy watching a good tv series or documentary. I prefer to read non-fiction over fiction and love a good biography to give me inspiration and drive.
